Hi! My Name is Sonia from Sonia’s Henna Art. I’m a professional bridal henna artist based in Toronto, Canada. I started My journey as a Henna Artist 13 years ago when I was in university and tried to make extra cash on the side. I always admired Art, especially the Art of Henna which has a long history. I was first introduced to henna from my cousin sister when I moved cities. Since, social media was not a thing back then, slowly, I started to play with henna and created different patterns, with time I improved myself, and learned from mistakes. Today, I can proudly say, I’m capable of creating a full bridal henna within 3-4 hours without looking at any pattern. As a mom of 3 young ones, I consider henna to be my meditation.
